REACH which stands for Rehabilitation, Education, and Advocacy for Citizens with Disabilities (formerly Handicaps), is a North Texas based nonprofit corporation with the dual mission of providing services for people with disabilities so that they are empowered to lead self-directed lives and educating the general public on disability-related topics in order to promote a barrier-free community. In order to accomplish this dual mission, REACH operates the REACH Resource Centers on Independent Living in Fort Worth, Dallas, Denton and Plano.
